November of 2020 was the last time. During that time, many things were happening. I work at a high school so spent a lot of time with students online for distance learning. The hours of online Zooming left me drained. Also, I devoted more of my time to catching up on reading and working on my fiction writing.

Even though the pandemic is still ongoing, I believe that it’s time to get back and devote some time to this blog. I’m going to try to get back to it on a regular basis.

So, I’m back! Thank you for your patience in waiting. I hope all you readers come back.
Freedomstarhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09949266814745792026noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19880689.post-80402705029933953872020-11-01T12:30:00.005-08:002020-11-01T12:30:48.238-08:00Fantasy Link 11/1/20
<span style="background-color: white; caret-color: rgb(30, 30, 30); color: #1e1e1e; font-family: "Noto Serif"; font-size: 16px; white-space: pre-wrap;">Today's link is to a podcast about the masquerade in urban fantasy or how to portray magic and magical creatures in the modern day world: https://mythcreants.com/blog/299-the-masquerade/#more-33387
Freedomstarhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09949266814745792026noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19880689.post-67224739874331555182020-10-25T12:19:00.003-07:002020-10-25T12:19:32.042-07:00Fantasy Link 10/25/20
<span style="background-color: white; caret-color: rgb(30, 30, 30); color: #1e1e1e; font-family: "Noto Serif"; font-size: 16px; white-space: pre-wrap;">Today's link is to a podcast on episodic prose: https://mythcreants.com/blog/298-episodic-prose-stories/#more-33372
Freedomstarhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09949266814745792026noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19880689.post-71245259367750293852020-10-24T12:05:00.000-07:002020-10-24T12:05:02.316-07:00Fantasy Link 10/24/20
<span style="background-color: white; caret-color: rgb(30, 30, 30); color: #1e1e1e; font-family: "Noto Serif"; font-size: 16px; white-space: pre-wrap;">Today's article is about world building and using incantations in magic systems: https://mythcreants.com/blog/using-incantations-in-your-magic-system/

<span style="background-color: white; caret-color: rgb(30, 30, 30); color: #1e1e1e; font-family: "Noto Serif"; font-size: 16px; white-space: pre-wrap;">

Freedomstarhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09949266814745792026noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19880689.post-54440181515935477472020-10-18T12:06:00.000-07:002020-10-18T12:06:04.047-07:00Fantasy Link 10/18/20
<span style="background-color: white; caret-color: rgb(30, 30, 30); color: #1e1e1e; font-family: "Noto Serif"; font-size: 16px; white-space: pre-wrap;">Today's link is to a writing podcast on creating stronger characters: https://mythcreants.com/blog/297-developing-stronger-characters/#more-33283
Freedomstarhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09949266814745792026noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19880689.post-64114095475679362562020-08-23T13:11:00.001-07:002020-08-23T13:11:04.225-07:00Fantasy Link 8/23/20
Today's link is to a podcast on character flaws: https://mythcreants.com/blog/289-character-flaws/
Freedomstarhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09949266814745792026noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19880689.post-6676662397742374752020-08-22T12:58:00.004-07:002020-08-22T12:58:34.041-07:00Fantasy Link 8/22/20
Sorry I missed posting last week due to life events intervening.

Today is a link to an article on five stories that had anticlimactic endings: https://mythcreants.com/blog/five-stories-with-anticlimactic-endings/
Freedomstarhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09949266814745792026noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19880689.post-54063502821177196082020-08-02T12:42:00.005-07:002020-08-02T12:42:48.001-07:00Fantasy Link 8/2/20Today's link is to a podcast from Mythcreants on revisiting character deaths in stories: https://mythcreants.com/blog/286-character-death-revisited/Freedomstarhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09949266814745792026noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19880689.post-34602903913030682792020-08-01T12:01:00.005-07:002020-08-01T12:01:47.980-07:00Fantasy Link 8/1/20Today's link is for the Hugo Award winners of 2020: https://www.syfy.com/syfywire/2020-hugo-award-winnersFreedomstarhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09949266814745792026noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19880689.post-73086137299469144512020-07-24T13:07:00.000-07:002020-07-24T13:07:09.886-07:00Fantasy Link 7/24/20Today's link is to a writing article on why writers should read bad stories: https://mythcreants.com/blog/seven-reasons-storytellers-should-consume-bad-stories/Freedomstarhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09949266814745792026noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19880689.post-91561846788210526122020-07-17T13:27:00.002-07:002020-07-17T13:27:36.666-07:00Fantasy Link 7/17/20Today's link is to a storytelling and writing article on how to write grim dark stories and fixing them: https://mythcreants.com/blog/why-storytellers-fail-at-grimdark-and-how-to-fix-it/Freedomstarhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09949266814745792026noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19880689.post-47515365095257243402020-07-11T13:16:00.002-07:002020-07-11T13:16:45.505-07:00Fantasy Links 7/11/20Hello everyone,
